Folding Utility Knife with Aluminum Handle

This folding utility knife features a lightweight aluminum handle with an anti-slip grip and a stainless steel blade housing. It is designed for general and precision cutting tasks around the home, workshop or job site. The tool includes a protective holster for safe storage and convenient belt attachment. Its compact folding design makes it easy to carry in a pocket or tool bag.

Quick-Change Blade and Locking Mechanism

The knife uses a quick-change mechanism compatible with most standard-sized blades for fast swaps without extra tools. A secure lock-back mechanism holds the blade firmly open during use to prevent accidental folding. This replaces fixed-blade knives that require separate storage or slower blade changes. The upgrade is worth it for users who value one-handed operation and rapid blade replacement.

Standard Blade Compatibility and Manual Operation

Cutting performance depends entirely on the standard utility blade installed, which the user must supply or replace when dull. The tool has no powered assistance, so cutting thick or dense materials like drywall or flooring requires repeated manual scoring. The folding hinge and lock are mechanical parts that can accumulate debris in dusty environments. Buyers needing powered cutting or specialised blade shapes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 9-inch folded length fit standard tool-belt holsters?

The knife measures 9 inches overall and ships with its own protective holster designed for belt attachment, so no separate holster is required.

How do I swap the stainless-steel blade without the lock engaging mid-change?

Press the quick-release button to free the old blade, insert a standard-size replacement, then press the lock-back button until it clicks to secure the new edge.

When should I replace the blade on this utility knife?

Replace the stainless-steel blade once it no longer slices cardboard, carpet, leather or vinyl cleanly; the quick-change mechanism accepts most standard blades for a fast swap.
