Heavy-weight Ruled Index Cards

This pack contains 300 white index cards sized at 3 by 5 inches, ruled on one side for structured note-taking. Each card uses 114 lb, 186 gsm commercial-grade stock with precision-cut edges for consistent dimensions. The set measures 5 x 3 x 3.2 inches and weighs 1.038 pounds, making it a substantial supply for study or organisation.

Students, Researchers, and List Makers

The ruled format suits anyone who prefers guided lines for flashcards, revision aids, recipes, or daily task lists. The heavy card stock resists bending and handles frequent handling without tearing. Buyers needing blank cards for drawing, unruled writing space, or larger formats such as 4 x 6 inches should consider other options.

114 lb / 186 gsm Card Stock Weight

The defining specification is the premium-weight paper rated at 114 pounds and 186 grams per square metre. This thickness provides rigidity that standard lightweight index cards lack, so cards stand upright in boxes and survive repeated shuffling. If your workflow demands thinner, more flexible paper for filing or printing, this weight may be too stiff.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.2-inch thick pack fit in a standard 3x5 card file?

The pack measures 5 by 3 by 3.2 inches, so it matches the footprint of a standard 3x5 file but verify your drawer depth before buying.

What is the easiest way to separate the 300 cards without bending the 1.06-inch wide edges?

The cards are precision-cut; fan the deck gently along the 5-inch length and pull sheets individually to keep edges flat.

When should I expect the 114 lb, 186 gsm stock to show wear from frequent handling?

Heavy commercial stock resists edge fraying and ink bleed through extended study sessions; replace cards once corners soften or lines feather.
