Compact stereo speakers for desktop audio

The Amazon Basics V620BLACK is a 2.0 speaker pair that draws power from a USB port and connects through a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack. It suits anyone who wants louder sound than built-in laptop speakers without needing a wall outlet.

Check for a free USB port and 3.5 mm jack

Your computer must provide a standard USB-A port for power and a 3.5 mm audio output for the signal cable. The in-line volume control sits on the cable, so ensure the cord length reaches your preferred listening position.

Steady output at modest volumes

Each satellite delivers 2.4 watts RMS, so the set maintains consistent levels during long work sessions or video playback. The bottom radiator helps low frequencies stay defined without distortion at typical desktop listening distances.

Questions about this item

Does the V620BLACK set include both the USB power cable and the 3.5 mm audio cable, or must either be purchased separately?

The package supplies one pair of speakers with an integrated USB power lead and a fixed 3.5 mm aux cable; no extra cables are required for basic PC or laptop use.

The specs list 2.4 W total power and 2.4 W per satellite — which figure should I use when comparing models?

Both numbers are identical because the 2.0 configuration has no subwoofer; the 2.4 W rating applies to the combined output of the two drivers.

What does the 20 kHz frequency response mean for everyday listening on a laptop?

It indicates the speakers can reproduce treble up to 20 kHz, covering the upper range of most music and video content played through a standard laptop audio jack.
