  • Scans 60 pages per minute for high-volume workflows
  • Duplex colour, greyscale and monochrome capture in one pass
  • Handles documents, ID cards and passports with sheet-fed mode
  • USB 3.0 interface for fast data transfer
  • TWAIN driver and nine customisable button profiles simplify integration

Versatile High-Speed Document Scanner

The Ambir nScan 1060 is a duplex ADF scanner that captures documents, cards and passports at 60ppm in colour, greyscale or black and white. It connects via USB 3.0 and includes a TWAIN driver for broad software compatibility. The unit ships new in black.

Simple USB Integration for Existing Workstations

A single USB 3.0 cable supplies both data and power, so the scanner fits into a standard workstation without an external adapter. The automatic document feeder handles mixed batches and switches to a sheetfed passport mode for thick media. Nine programmable button profiles let operators recall frequent job settings instantly.

Suited for High-Volume Mixed-Media Capture

Offices that process large daily volumes of standard pages, ID cards and passports will benefit from the 60ppm duplex speed and the thin-paper mode that protects delicate originals. Environments that require wireless or network scanning, or that need a flatbed for bound books, should consider a different form factor.

Questions about this item

How many pages per minute can the DS1060-AS scan continuously before the automatic document feeder slows down?

The scanner is rated at 60 pages per minute in duplex mode, and the ADF is designed to sustain that speed for multi-page batches without a stated duty-cycle limit.

What noise level or heat output should I expect when the nScan 1060 runs all day in a quiet office?

The unit operates over USB 3.0 power, so it generates minimal heat and runs quietly enough for desk-side use during extended scanning sessions.

Which host interface must my computer already have for this scanner to work out of the box?

A USB 3.0 port is required; the scanner connects through that interface and uses a TWAIN driver for software integration.
