Ambir ImageScan Pro 820IX Document Scanner

The Ambir ImageScan Pro 820IX is a new document scanner built for everyday capture. It handles pages up to 10 by 5 inches and scans at 20 pages per minute in colour. The compact desktop design suits offices that need reliable digitisation without a large footprint.

Best for single-feed scanning workflows

This scanner suits users who process one document at a time and do not need an automatic document feeder. Buyers who require batch feeding, higher daily volumes, or larger format support should look at a different class of device.

Questions about this item

How often do the rollers on the Ambir ImageScan Pro 820IX need replacement?

Roller life depends on daily volume and paper type; clean them regularly and replace when feed errors increase.

What limits continuous scanning on the DS820IX-AS at 20 pages per minute?

The 20 ppm rating is the sustained throughput ceiling; the automatic document feeder capacity and host PC processing pace the actual run length.
