Ambir ImageScan Pro 820ix Sheetfed Scanner

The Ambir ImageScan Pro 820ix is a sheetfed scanner designed for offices that need to digitise paper documents quickly. It captures images at 600 dpi optical resolution for clear text and graphics. The compact feed mechanism suits desks with limited space. It is not for users who require flatbed scanning for bound books or fragile originals.

Installation and common issues

Connect the scanner via the supplied cable and install the driver from the manufacturer website before first use. Most setups complete in minutes without extra hardware. Misfeeds can occur if pages are curled, stapled or loaded beyond the tray capacity. Regular roller cleaning prevents double-feeds and skewed scans.
