2MP PTZ PoE+ Camera with 25x Optical Zoom

The Amcrest IP2M-863EW-AI-V3 is a 2-megapixel pan-tilt-zoom network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It delivers 1080p video at 30 frames per second and integrates on-board AI analytics including face detection, intrusion tripwires, abandoned-object alerts and smart motion detection without requiring a separate AI recorder. The housing meets IP66 weatherproofing for permanent exterior mounting.

512 GB MicroSD and 328 ft IR Night Vision

Local recording fits a MicroSD card up to 512 GB, while footage can also be sent to a PC, NAS, Amcrest NVR or Amcrest Cloud. Four IR LEDs illuminate scenes to 328 ft in monochrome and provide full-colour night vision to 164 ft. The motorised lens covers a 360 ° pan range and 90 ° tilt with a 67.5 ° field of view, plus 16x digital zoom beyond the optical reach.

PoE+ 802.3at Power Requirement

The camera draws power exclusively through PoE+ (802.3at) or an optional 12 V 3 A supply, so the installer must provide a compatible injector or switch. An integrated 110 dB siren and two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker add active deterrence and communication. H.265 compression reduces bandwidth and storage needs across all recording destinations.

Questions about this item

Will the IP2M-863EW-AI-V3 integrate with my existing Amcrest NVR that uses H.265 compression?

Yes, the camera supports H.265 compression and lists Amcrest NVR as a supported storage option, so it will record directly to your current recorder without transcoding.

How can I verify the 25x optical zoom and 360° pan are functioning correctly after installation?

Use the Amcrest View app to command a full 360° pan sweep and zoom from wide to telephoto; smooth motion and a clear 25x close-up confirm the motors and optics are working.

Does the box include a PoE+ injector or MicroSD card, or must I purchase them separately?

The camera requires PoE+ (802.3at) or a DC12V 3A supply and supports MicroSD up to 512GB; neither a PoE+ injector nor a MicroSD card is included, so both must be bought separately.
