Amcrest 16-Channel 4K NVR

The Amcrest REP-NV4116-HS is a 16-channel network video recorder built for multi-camera surveillance systems. It records and displays live footage from up to sixteen IP cameras at resolutions up to 4K at 30 frames per second. The unit uses H.265 compression to reduce storage requirements while preserving UltraHD detail. A SATA cable is included for internal drive installation.

Suits installations needing sixteen wired camera

This recorder fits homes or businesses that want a single appliance to manage sixteen wired IP cameras with 4K recording capability. It is not suitable for setups that require built-in Wi-Fi for camera pairing or wireless network connectivity. Buyers who need more than six terabytes of local storage on a single drive should look at a different recorder.

Maximum single drive capacity is six terabytes

The NVR accepts one SATA hard drive up to 6TB, which is the limiting factor for onboard retention before footage is overwritten or offloaded. No drive ships with the unit, so the buyer must supply a compatible SATA drive to begin recording. Plan your storage budget around this ceiling.
