  • Bulk 1000-count carton supplies high-volume breakrooms

Product Identity

This carton contains 1000 heavyweight forks made from crystallised PLA, a plant-based material supplied by AmerCareRoyal under model L1801W. The cutlery is intended for breakrooms and catering operations that need single-use utensils capable of handling hot, dense foods without bending.

Suitability

The forks suit facilities that want compostable serviceware and can send used items to an industrial composting site where they break down within 60 days. Sites without access to such facilities, or kitchens requiring reusable metal flatware, should consider alternative solutions.

Capacity and Limits

Each fork withstands temperatures up to 194° F, so it manages boiling soups, baked casseroles and other high-heat dishes comfortably. The material loses integrity above that temperature and will not decompose in home compost heaps or landfill conditions.

Questions about this item

What storage space do I need for a 1,000-count carton of these forks?

A standard 1,000-count carton fits on a typical breakroom shelf; measure your shelf depth and height to confirm it will sit flat.

Can I use these CPLA forks alongside my existing metal cutlery for hot dishes?

Yes, they withstand temperatures up to 194°F, so they handle the same heavy, high-temperature foods as metal pieces.

How can I verify the forks are composting correctly after disposal?

In an industrial composting facility they break down within 60 days; ask your waste hauler for facility certification.
