American Fibertek MR-80 8-channel security receiver

8-Channel Security Receiver

The American Fibertek MR-80 is an 8-channel security receiver designed for surveillance installations that require multi-channel video reception. It serves integrators and property managers who need a dedicated module to aggregate signals from multiple cameras into a central monitoring system.

Passive Thermal Operation

With no active cooling components listed, the unit runs silently and draws minimal power from its supplied source. The absence of fans or heatsinks in the specifications means it generates negligible acoustic noise and fits into quiet environments such as offices or residential security closets without adding audible distraction.

Eight-Channel Capacity

The defining specification is the eight-channel capacity, which sets the maximum number of camera feeds the module can receive simultaneously. Buyers needing to consolidate more than eight video sources will require additional receivers or a higher-density alternative.
