6V 5A Spring-Top Rechargeable Battery

This 6-volt, 5-ampere spring-top rechargeable battery is designed as a direct replacement for DLP projector lamps and compatible game-feeder lanterns or flashlights. It arrives new and ready to install, supplying the voltage and connector style specified by the original equipment.

Practical limits of the spring-top interface

The spring terminals suit only devices built for a 6V 5A spring-top pack; they will not mate with screw, blade or barrel connectors. Capacity is fixed at the rated 5 ampere-hours, so runtime cannot be extended without a higher-capacity pack of the same form factor. Charging must follow the original charger's profile, as no alternative chemistry or fast-charge protocol is supported.

Questions about this item

Is the 6V 5A spring-top battery the only version available for this American Hunter lamp?

The product is supplied as a single 6V 5A spring-top rechargeable battery; no alternative capacities or terminal styles are listed.

What runtime can I expect from the 6V 5A rating when the battery powers a game feeder lantern?

The 6V 5A rating shows the battery can deliver five amps at six volts; actual lantern runtime depends on the feeder's current draw, which varies by model.
