Professional Recording Sign

The American Recorder Technologies RECORDING LED Lighted Sign in green is built for professional and home recording studios that need a clear on-air indicator. It uses a nostalgic microphone graphic and even LED illumination to show recording status at a glance. The virtually blacked-out lens when off keeps the studio looking clean.

Capacity and Headroom

Twenty bright white high-efficiency LEDs rated for 50000 hours of use life deliver consistent brightness without hot spots or faded edges. The 120 degree dispersion covers the entire 9 inch by 5.5 inch panel evenly for crisp visibility. The fixed green colour and single RECORDING legend mean it cannot display custom messages or multiple statuses.

Build Quality and Connectors

A steel and aluminium enclosure with curved edges and a flat black powder coated finish resists wear in daily studio use. The 1.5 inch depth allows flush mounting on walls or surfaces with the included hardware. A 25 foot extension cable and power supply are provided so the sign can reach distant outlets without extra wiring.

Questions about this item

Will the 25 foot extension cable reach my existing wall outlet from the recording desk?

The sign includes a 25 foot extension cable and power supply, so you can position the 9 inch by 5.5 inch unit up to that distance from a mains socket without extra wiring.

How can I verify the 20 LED lights are illuminating evenly after I mount the sign?

Power the unit on; the twin-lens design should show a crisp green panel with no hot spots or dim edges, and the lens appears virtually black when the sign is switched off.

Does the package contain the mounting hardware and power supply, or must I buy them separately?

The box supplies the 25 foot extension cable, power supply and mounting hardware for the steel and aluminum enclosure, so no additional parts are required for basic installation.
