Victor Series Size 1 Cutting Tip
This Victor Series Size 1 cutting tip is designed for oxy-acetylene hand or machine torch work. It fits a wide range of Victor-compatible torches and cutting attachments for general-purpose metal cutting. The one-piece tip design simplifies setup and maintenance for professional welders and fabricators.
Thermals noise and power draw
The tip operates with acetylene fuel on compatible Victor torch series such as HC 1200C, MT 1065, MT 200, MT 300, MT 5, ST 1000FC, ST 2600FC, ST 300FC, ST 400C and ST 900FC. It supports a maximum cutting thickness of 3/4 inch under normal cutting conditions. Heat output and gas consumption scale with the torch regulator settings selected by the operator.
Compatible torch and attachment series
The tip works with cutting attachments CA 2460, CA 2460+, CA 2461, CA 2461+, CA 2462, CA 2462+ and CA 411-1. This broad compatibility reduces the need for multiple tip inventories across different Victor torch models. It is not suited for cutting thicknesses beyond 3/4 inch or for fuel gases other than acetylene.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 1-101 size 1 cutting tip on my Victor handheld torch, and what step do people often miss?
Thread the one-piece tip onto the compatible Victor torch series such as HC 1200C or MT 200, then tighten with the correct wrench; the step often missed is verifying the acetylene fuel setting matches the tip size before lighting.
What maintenance or replacement will this acetylene cutting tip need over time?
The one-piece copper tip wears at the orifice from heat and slag; replace it when the cut edge widens or the preheat flames become uneven, typically after heavy daily use on 3/4 in plate.
What is the first limit I will hit when cutting continuously at the maximum 3/4 in thickness?
Sustained cutting at the 3/4 in maximum thickness causes the tip to overheat first, leading to orifice distortion and loss of cut quality before the torch or hose reaches any limit.
