Wide platform bath scale

The American Weigh ESBS-66 bath scale has a 15 x 13 in platform that accommodates most foot sizes. It supports a 440 lb capacity and displays weight in 0.2 lb increments. Step-on technology uses four precision sensors for instant readings without tapping. The bright blue backlit display measures 3.5 x 2.25 in for easy viewing.

Low power digital operation

The scale runs on alkaline batteries and includes an auto-off feature that powers the unit down after several seconds of inactivity. This extends battery life during normal daily weighing. There are no fans, pumps or active cooling components, so operation is silent. Power draw is limited to the display and sensor circuitry.

440 lb maximum capacity

The single specification that decides suitability is the 440 lb (250 kg) weight limit. Users who weigh more than this limit cannot use the scale for accurate body-weight tracking. Buyers needing a higher capacity should look for a scale rated above 440 lb.

Place the scale on a hard, flat floor and step on it directly; the four precision sensors activate instantly without any tapping or waiting for calibration.

What maintenance will the ESBS-66 need later?

Replace the alkaline batteries when the backlit display dims; the auto-off feature after several seconds of inactivity helps extend battery life.

What limit appears first during sustained daily use of the ESBS-66?

The 440 lb maximum capacity is the hard limit; readings show in 0.2 lb increments up to that weight.
