Purpose & Audience

The American Weigh TS-300 is a digital hanging scale built for outdoor and utility weighing. It serves hunters, anglers, farmers and anyone needing to check heavy loads such as luggage or patient-lift weights. The compact plastic housing fits in a vehicle glove compartment or gear bag. Buyers who need a bench-top platform or a scale for light kitchen portions will not find this form factor suitable.

Capacity & Resolution

The single figure that decides fit is the 660-pound maximum capacity with 0.2-pound increments. The sensor resolution is fixed at this step size across the entire range. If your application demands finer granularity or a higher ceiling, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Working Range & Limits

The scale reads reliably from the first increment up to the 660-pound limit, covering big-game carcasses, large fish, feed bags and construction materials. Overload is signalled by an on-screen indicator once the rated maximum is exceeded. It does not log data or transmit readings, so users who need recorded weight histories must capture them manually.

Questions about this item
