Construction Film for Fire-Rated Containment

This 12-by-100-foot roll provides 1,200 square feet of flame-retardant polyethylene sheeting. It is intended for contractors and facility managers who must meet fire-rated material requirements on interior and exterior dust containment projects. The off-white film is non-adhesive and supplied as a single continuous roll for broad surface protection.

Simple Unrolling with Standard Fastening

Installation consists of unrolling the film and securing it with tape, staples or mechanical fasteners chosen by the installer. The material has no adhesive backing and offers no slip-resistant surface, so workers must plan attachment points and overlap seams carefully to maintain containment integrity. No special tools are required beyond basic cutting and fastening equipment.

4-Mil Thickness Governs Durability and Compliance

The 4-mil gauge is the critical specification that determines whether the film satisfies a project’s fire-rated containment standard. Thicker or thinner alternatives will not meet the same rating, so verify the specification against the project requirements before purchase. The film is not recyclable and carries no slip-resistant or adhesive properties.
