AMT 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente Craftsman Plus 1/25 Scale Model Kit 30 Parts

1/25 Scale Mercury Comet Caliente Kit

This AMT Craftsman Plus kit reproduces the 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente in 1/25 scale. It contains 30 plastic parts moulded in white plus black vinyl tyres and metal axles. Chrome-plated trim, bumpers, wheels and clear red taillights replicate factory brightwork. Colourful decal artwork and vintage-style packaging complete the officially licensed set. Paint and cement are required but not included.

Build Requirements and Workbench Impact

Assembly is rated Skill 2, so basic modelling experience is sufficient. The kit needs hobby knife, sprue cutters, plastic cement and paint to finish. No engine or interior sub-assemblies are supplied, freeing bench space and build time. Chrome parts can be left bare or stripped and repainted with silver for a custom look. The small parts count keeps the project manageable in a single sitting.

Collectors and Hobbyists Seeking a Compact Project

Adult collectors who want a faithful 1964 Mercury replica without a complex multi-week build will suit this kit. Builders looking for a fully detailed engine bay, opening doors or a higher parts count should look elsewhere. The kit is unisex and intended for display rather than play. Anyone unwilling to supply their own paint and cement will not be able to complete the model.
