1967 Chevelle SS 396 1/25 Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic model kit reproduces the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 with 98 detailed parts. It is an officially licensed product aimed at adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy assembling vintage American muscle cars. The kit is moulded in white and includes black vinyl tires with a red stripe.

Detailed Parts and Authentic Trim

The box supplies chrome-plated small parts such as hood trim, rocker panel moulding and optional hood hinges. A 396 cu. in. V-8 engine and colourful decal artwork are also included, while the vintage-style packaging marks AMT's 75-year anniversary. Paint and cement are required but not supplied.

Skill Level and Finishing Constraints

Rated as Skill 2, the kit demands basic modelling experience for clean assembly and alignment of the many chrome accents. Builders must provide their own paint and cement, and the "chrome" trim can be replicated with silver paint if preferred. The completed model is a display piece only and has no moving or powered functions.

Questions about this item

What maintenance or replacement will the AMT 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 model kit need later?

Paint and cement are required to finish the kit and are not included. After assembly, occasional dusting keeps the 98 detailed parts clean. No mechanical maintenance is needed for this static display model.

What limit shows up first under sustained use of this model kit?

As a static 1/25 scale display piece, it has no operating limits. The only practical limit is the single-use nature of the 98 plastic parts, decals, and chrome-plated pieces once assembled with cement.

Does the finished model produce any noise, heat, or power draw when displayed all day?

No. The completed 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is a non-powered plastic model. It generates no noise, no heat, and draws no power while sitting on a shelf or in a display case.
