1970 Buick Wildcat Hardtop Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic model kit from AMT reproduces the 1970 Buick Wildcat Hardtop "Craftsman Plus" Series. It contains 30 detailed parts moulded in white with chrome plated rims and small parts, plus black vinyl tyres on metal axles. The kit features pad-printed pinstripe tyres, clear red tail lights and an engine plate for authentic detail. Officially licensed packaging makes it suitable for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts.

Paint and Cement Required Before Starting

Assembly requires modelling paint and cement which are not included in the box. The chrome trim detail can be replicated by striping silver paint onto the relevant parts. Builders should prepare a suitable workspace and adhesive before opening the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Vintage style packaging and colourful decal artwork are provided for the finishing touches.

Sustained Build Sessions Over Short Bursts

The Skill 2 rating indicates straightforward assembly that rewards patience across multiple sessions rather than a single sitting. Chrome plated components and clear parts benefit from careful handling and drying time between steps. Vinyl tyres and metal axles add weight and realism that settle well when the build progresses steadily. Consistent effort produces a display piece that reflects the true-to-scale detail throughout.
