Classic 1963 Ford F-100 Camper Pickup Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic model kit from AMT reproduces the first-generation Ford F-100 with its distinctive cab-over-fenders styling. It contains 136 detailed parts moulded in white, plus chrome-plated pieces, black vinyl tyres and metal axles. The set includes a supercharged Ford engine, two sets of custom wheels and two custom front ends alongside the stock option. It is designed for adult modellers seeking an authentic period-correct build.

Skill Level 2 Requires Paint and Cement

This kit is rated Skill Level 2 and demands both paint and cement, which are not included in the box. You will need modelling tools such as sprue cutters, files and a suitable adhesive for plastic parts. The chrome-plated trim can be stripped and repainted with silver paint if a different finish is desired. Ensure you have a prepared workspace and the necessary supplies before opening the sealed packaging.

Three Build Options in One Box

The 3-in-1 design lets you assemble the truck as a stock model, a custom version or a camper pickup with roof flasher and push bumper. Detailed interior, chassis, engine and camper components are all provided for each configuration. Colourful decal artwork and vintage-style packaging complete the officially licensed product. Builders can choose their preferred version for display or collection.

Questions about this item

Does the AMT1412 kit include paint and cement, or must I buy them separately?

Paint and cement are required but not included in the box; you will need to purchase them separately before starting the build.

Should I choose the stock, custom, or camper version when building the 1963 Ford F-100?

The kit contains all parts for three builds — stock, custom, and camper — so you can decide which version to assemble and even rebuild it differently later.

What does the 1/25 scale mean for the finished model's size compared to the real 1963 Ford F-100?

Every dimension on the completed model is one twenty-fifth of the actual truck, giving a compact replica that still shows the 136 detailed parts clearly.
