Questions about this item

Does the 118-part kit generate heat or noise during long building sessions?

No, this is a static plastic model kit with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat or noise while you work on it.

What extra items must I already own to complete the 1/25 scale Ford Starliner?

You will need model paint, plastic cement, and basic hobby tools such as sprue cutters and files; none of these are included in the box.

Will the chrome-plated parts and 352 cubic inch motor details fit with older AMT kits I already have?

The parts are molded to 1/25 scale, matching the standard scale used by AMT for decades, so they can be mixed with vintage AMT kits of the same scale.
