1/25 Scale D&D Van Kit

This AMT plastic model kit reproduces a 1974 Chevrolet Custom Van in 1/25 scale with official Dungeons & Dragons artwork. It contains 212 detailed parts moulded in white and includes two large decal sheets featuring classic and modern D&D designs. The kit is rated Skill Level 2 and requires paint and cement to complete.

Before You Start Building

Verify you have modelling cement and suitable paints, as neither is supplied in the box. The parts include chrome-plated pieces that may need stripping before painting, plus black vinyl tyres, metal axles and clear porthole inserts. A clean, well-lit workspace and basic hobby tools will make assembly of the 212 components much smoother.

Long Build Sessions

The high part count and multiple customisation options — such as two grille choices, two rear spoilers, skylights, sunroof, CB radio and air horns — mean construction spreads over many hours rather than a single sitting. White plastic shows glue marks easily, so careful dry-fitting and patience during painting will keep the finish looking sharp throughout the extended build.

Questions about this item

Does the kit contain everything needed to finish the 1974 Chevrolet Custom Van, or must I buy paint and cement separately?

The box holds 212 parts moulded in white with chrome-plated trim, black vinyl tyres, metal axles, two massive decal sheets, wood bumpers, two grilles, 8-spoke wheels, 5-spoke mags, side pipes, air horns, road lights, CB radio, antennas, rocker panels, skylights, sunroof, two rear spoilers and portholes; paint and cement are not included.

How do I decide between the two rear spoilers, the two grilles and the two wheel styles when building the 1/25 scale van?

All options are in the same box — choose the louvered or clear portholes, the 8-spoke or 5-spoke mags, and either rear spoiler at build time; no extra purchase is required for any variant.

What does the Skill Level 2 rating mean for the time and effort to assemble the 212-part Dungeons & Dragons van?

Skill Level 2 suits intermediate modellers; expect multiple evenings to clean, fit and paint the 212 parts, apply the large decal sheets and add chrome accents with silver paint for a detailed 1/25 scale result.
