1/25 Scale Fruehauf Tanker Kit

This AMT model kit reproduces a Fruehauf tanker trailer in 1/25 scale with authentic Gulf Oil livery. It is aimed at adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy building detailed commercial vehicle replicas. The kit carries an official licence and arrives in vintage-style packaging. Paint and cement are required to complete the model.

Skill 3 Complexity and 174 Parts

The single specification that determines suitability is the Skill 3 rating combined with 174 individual parts. This level demands patience and experience with small-scale assembly, making it unsuitable for beginners or younger builders. Buyers seeking a quick snap-together project will find the parts count and detail overwhelming.

Sustained Build Sessions Over Weeks

Under sustained effort the kit rewards methodical work across multiple sessions rather than a single sitting. Chrome-plated trim, hollow vinyl Goodyear tires and detailed outlet piping require careful handling and drying time between steps. The assembled model stretches over 19 inches long, so adequate workspace must be maintained throughout the build.
