1/25 Scale Truck Model Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic kit reproduces the George Barris Ala Kart Pickup Truck for adult hobbyists and collectors. Parts arrive molded in white with black vinyl tires and chrome-plated trim pieces. Colorful decal artwork and vintage-style packaging complete the officially licensed set.

Assembly Requirements and Common Issues

Paint and cement are required but not included, so budget for those supplies before starting. The chrome trim detail may need hand-striping with silver paint for the intended finish. Applying the decals cleanly on curved surfaces is the step most builders find challenging.

Skill 2 Difficulty Rating

The kit carries a Skill 2 rating, indicating it suits modellers with some prior experience. Beginners may struggle with the trim detailing and decal placement without earlier practice. Experienced builders will find the parts count and fit appropriate for a satisfying weekend project.

Compare the completed kit to the box artwork and check that all chrome trim parts are fitted, the black vinyl tires are seated on the wheels, and the decals match the Ala Kart graphics shown on the vintage-style packaging.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The box contains white plastic parts, chrome-plated small parts, black vinyl tires and colorful decals; you must buy paint and model cement separately because they are not included.
