Compact 120W 12V Supply for Industrial Use

This enclosed switching power supply delivers 120 watts at 12 volts with a 10 amp output. Its 41mm low-profile design fits tight enclosures in 3D printers, computer systems, car stereos and LED strip installations. The unit accepts a wide 90 to 264 VAC input range selectable by switch for global compatibility.

Sustained Load Behaviour and Thermal Limits

A built-in long-life fan allows continuous full-load operation across an ambient temperature span of 10°C to 60°C. Efficiency exceeds 85 percent, reducing waste heat during extended runs. The supply withstands a 300 VAC surge for five seconds, protecting connected equipment from transient mains spikes.

Installation Notes and Common Pitfalls

The selectable input voltage switch must be set to match the local mains supply before power is applied; an incorrect setting will damage the unit. Verify that the 10 amp output limit covers the total draw of all connected loads to avoid triggering over-current protection. The 41mm height eases mounting but leaves no room for additional airflow obstructions above the fan intake.
