Compact high-voltage DC-DC module converts 24 V input to an adjustable 0–8 kV output at up to 1 mA with 0–5 V control and electronic shutdown
This Analog Technologies module converts a 24 V DC input into an adjustable 0 to 8 kV output with a maximum current of 1 mA. It accepts a 0 to 5 V control signal for full-span voltage modulation and includes an electronic shutdown function for safety.
The unit operates from a 24 V ± 1 V source drawing 110 to 481 mA depending on load. A 5 V ± 0.05 V reference and a 0 to 5 V control voltage must be provided externally, while a 0 to 1.5 V monitor output allows real-time feedback of the high-voltage level.
Suited for engineers building X-ray, spectroscopy, electrospinning or semiconductor test equipment that need a compact, controllable high-voltage source. Not suitable for applications requiring more than 1 mA output current or for systems that cannot supply the necessary 24 V input and 0 to 5 V control signals.

The unit delivers 0 to 8 kV at the output when the control voltage is swept from 0 to 5 V.
The input current ranges from 110 mA to 481 mA depending on the output loading conditions.
A 0 to 5 V control voltage provides full-span modulation of the 0 to 8 kV output.
