Portable 1280x720 LCD Projector

This compact LCD projector delivers a native 1280x720 resolution with 1500 lumens brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It projects images from 32 to 150 inches at distances between 0.8 and 3.8 metres. The unit includes a built-in speaker, manual keystone correction of ±15°, and a lamp rated for over 30000 hours. It supports 1080P maximum input resolution.

Home cinema and casual gaming users

Buyers wanting a simple projector for films, streaming or light gaming in darkened rooms will find the 1500 lumen output and 16:9 support suitable. The diffuse reflex imaging reduces eye strain during long sessions. Users needing high brightness for lit rooms, motorised lens shift, native 1080P resolution, or 3D beyond red-blue anaglyph should consider other options.

Native 1280x720 resolution decides fit

The fixed 1280x720 panel determines sharpness and text clarity for every source. Although the projector accepts 1080P signals, it downscales them to the native grid, so fine detail in spreadsheets or small text will not match a true 1080P panel. Check that this resolution meets your clarity needs before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I set the projector at the right distance for a 100 inch image?

Place it roughly 1.2 to 2 metres from the screen; the throw ratio is 1.4:1, so a 100 inch diagonal needs about 1.5 metres.

How often will the lamp need replacing?

The LED light source is rated for more than 30000 hours, so typical home use will not require a lamp change for many years.

What limits how long I can run it continuously?

The double vortex fan keeps temperatures stable, but the manual keystone correction only covers ±15°, so extreme angles will distort the image before heat becomes an issue.
