Quasar 50 Frame Gaming PC

This Andromeda Insights desktop pairs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an RTX 5090 graphics card for high-end gaming and AI workloads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory and a 2TB Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the X870 platform.

Sustained load behaviour

Liquid cooling manages thermals for the 8-core CPU and the 32GB GDDR7 GPU during extended sessions. The 1200W Gold power supply delivers stable current for continuous heavy compute. Stress testing is completed on every unit before it leaves the factory.

Installation and common issues

The system arrives fully assembled so there are no internal components to seat. Users only need to connect power, display and peripherals. Missing a monitor is the typical oversight because none is included in the box.

Questions about this item

How loud does the liquid cooling get when the RTX 5090 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D run at full load all day?

The 1200W Gold PSU and liquid cooling are sized for the 5090 and 9800X3D combination, keeping thermals stable during extended sessions.

Does the X870 motherboard need a separate Wi-Fi card or is wireless built in?

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are integrated on the X870 board, so no extra card is required.

Can I keep my current Gen3 NVMe drive alongside the installed 2TB Gen4 SSD?

The X870 platform supports additional M.2 slots, so a Gen3 NVMe drive can be added beside the 2TB Gen4 unit.
