AndyCine U3S USB 3.0 SDI Capture
The AndyCine U3S captures 1080p@60Hz video from an SDI source through a USB 3.0 connection. It uses PCIe Gen 1.1 x1 expansion for low-latency performance suitable for live broadcasting. The device is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems. It also supports external analog audio input alongside the embedded SDI audio.
Suitable for SDI camera workflows.
This capture device suits producers who need to ingest SDI signals from professional cameras or switchers into a computer for streaming or recording. The SDI loop-out allows simultaneous monitoring on a dedicated display. Buyers whose cameras only provide HDMI output should look at a different interface, as this unit has no HDMI input. It also does not support resolutions above 1080p@60Hz.
Maximum capture resolution is 1080p@60Hz
The single specification that determines suitability is the 1080p@60Hz capture ceiling. If your production requires 4K or higher frame rates, this device will not meet that need. For standard full-HD live streams, recordings or video conferences, the resolution and frame rate are appropriate. The USB 3.0 interface provides the necessary bandwidth for this signal level.
