Anest Iwata
HVLP spray gun with 1.1 mm nozzle, 0.7 cfm air consumption at 10 psi, 5 fl oz gravity cup and 1/4 in air inlet
The Anest Iwata 4926 is a gravity-fed HVLP spray gun designed for low-to-medium fluid delivery. Its 1.1 mm nozzle produces a fan pattern from 1/4 in to 6 in, making it suited for detail work and smaller panels. A 5 fl oz cup holds enough material for touch-ups without frequent refills. The 1/4 in air inlet connects to standard shop couplers.
The gun draws 0.7 cfm at 10 psi, keeping compressor demand modest and overspray low. HVLP atomisation at this pressure reduces bounce-back and material waste on typical clear coats, base coats and single-stage finishes. Low fluid delivery speed gives the operator time to control film build on vertical surfaces. Noise and vibration remain at typical air-tool levels for this class.
A 1/4 in air inlet fits common regulator and hose fittings without adapters. The gravity cup mounts directly on the body, eliminating a separate pressure pot and hose run. Builders who need higher volume or larger pattern widths will need a different gun. The transparent cup lets you monitor fluid level at a glance.

Attach a 1/4 in air hose to the inlet and regulate the supply to 10 psi; the gun consumes .7 cfm at that setting, so verify the compressor can sustain it before spraying.
The 1.1 mm nozzle, fluid needle and 5 fl oz gravity cup should be cleaned after every job; the needle packing and air-cap seals typically wear first and are the usual replacement items.
The fan adjusts from 1/4 in to 6 in, but sustained low-to-medium fluid delivery can cause the cup to run dry before the pattern narrows, so refill the 5 fl oz cup promptly.
