Compact 70W three-port charger

The Anker A121A supplies up to 70 W from a single USB-C port, enough to charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro from 0 to 50 % in 35 minutes. Three USB-C outputs share the total budget so a laptop, tablet and phone can charge together. Dual GaN chips keep the brick 41 % smaller than a typical 70 W adapter at 2.09 × 1.68 × 1.24 inches. Travellers and multi-device owners gain high power without the bulk.

Thermals and power draw

ActiveShield 4.0 monitoring and TÜV Rheinland certification limit surface temperature to 50 °F (10 °C) below international safety benchmarks during high-speed charging. The 240 V input rating supports worldwide mains without a separate converter. Efficient GaN switching reduces waste heat so the charger stays cool to the touch even when delivering the full 70 W at 20 V and 3.5 A.

Bundled cable and warranty

A 4.9 ft USB-C to USB-C cable is included, removing the need to buy a separate lead for immediate use. The welcome guide and 18-month warranty cover defects without extra registration steps. Widened port spacing cuts cable crowding by 81 % in internal testing, keeping the three connectors organised on a desk or in a travel pouch.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Anker A121A 70W charger and what is the most common mistake?

Plug the charger directly into a wall outlet; the balanced internal layout keeps it upright. The mistake is using a loose power strip or extension cord that lets the weight of three cables pull the unit out of the socket.

What maintenance or replacement will the Anker A121A 70W charger need later?

The included 4.9 ft USB-C to USB-C cable is the only wear item. Inspect the connectors periodically for debris or bent pins and replace the cable if the sheath frays or charging becomes intermittent.

What limit appears first on the Anker A121A 70W charger during sustained high-load use?

Each USB-C port caps at 70 W maximum output. When a single device draws that full 70 W, the port reaches its power ceiling before thermal limits engage, so total output cannot exceed 70 W per port.
