Dual-device charging cable

The Anker A8895 is a 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C cable that delivers up to 140 W of power to two devices at once. It targets users who carry a laptop and a phone and want a single braided lead for both. The six-foot length includes a fixed five-foot section plus two adjustable one-foot segments that slide to shorten the reach. Data transfers run at 480 Mbps.

Build integration

The cable plugs into one USB-C charger or port and splits into two USB-C connectors, freeing a second wall outlet or hub port. Smart power management divides the 140 W budget between the attached devices automatically. The nylon braid and 10,000-bend rating let it survive daily coiling in a bag without adding bulk to a minimal carry kit.

Bundled extras

A welcome guide explains the power-allocation logic so users can predict how each device charges when both are connected. An 18-month warranty covers defects without requiring a separate registration step. No additional adapters or software are included.

Questions about this item

How much power can the single USB-C port deliver before it reaches its ceiling?

The cable supports up to 140 W Power Delivery on a single port, enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50 % in 20 minutes.

Does the braided nylon jacket stay cool and quiet during all-day charging sessions?

The cable has no active cooling or electronics that generate noise; heat is limited to normal resistive loss at up to 140 W.

Which USB-C power adapter must I already own to reach the rated speed?

You need a USB-C charger that supplies 140 W Power Delivery; the cable itself carries the current but does not generate power.
