What it is and who it serves

The Anker Nano A9129 is a 67W 6-in-1 USB charging station that combines two AC outlets, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports in a slim housing measuring 3.94 × 3.66 × 0.75 in. A 5 ft flat extension cord with a 0.35 in flat plug lets it sit flush against walls or furniture. It is built for travellers and desk users who want one block to power a laptop, phone, tablet and accessories at once.

Replacing bulky strips and single chargers

Instead of carrying a separate laptop brick, a phone adapter and a multi-outlet strip, this unit consolidates everything into a 13.9 oz package that uses 75% post-consumer recycled plastic. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous AC and high-speed USB-C charging up to 67W without surge protection, and when a non-detachable 1.5 m cord is acceptable for your setup.

Behaviour under sustained load

ActiveShield 2.0 monitors temperature continuously to keep heat low during prolonged multi-device sessions. When all ports are active, USB-C 2 — marked with a computer icon — receives priority over USB-C 1, so a connected laptop maintains its charge rate while phones and tablets share the remaining budget. Over-voltage and short-circuit protections remain active throughout extended use.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear for the 3.94 × 3.66 × 0.75 in body and 0.35 in flat plug?

The unit measures 100 × 93 × 19 mm (3.94 × 3.66 × 0.75 in) and the moulded flat plug is just 0.35 in thick, so allow at least that depth behind furniture plus the 5 ft cord bend radius.

Which USB-C port should I use first for a laptop to guarantee the full 67 W?

Plug the laptop into the USB-C port marked with the computer icon (USB-C 2); it has priority over USB-C 1 when multiple ports are active, ensuring the maximum 67 W output.

When should I replace the strip if the ActiveShield 2.0 temperature system can no longer keep ports cool?

Replace the unit if ports become unusually hot during normal charging, the flat cord shows cracking, or the 24-month warranty period ends and you want continued connected-equipment coverage.
