Product identity

ANSELL AlphaTec 2300 682300PLUS Hooded Coveralls are disposable protective suits supplied in packs of 25. They are designed for workers who need a barrier against dry particulate and reduced spray hazards. The coveralls fit a 3XL size with a 33 in chest and 30 in waist.

Protection standard

The single specification that decides suitability is the taped seam construction certified to ASTM F1671 for viral penetration resistance. This meets the Level of Protection for Dry Particulate and Reduced Spray. Buyers who need protection against heavy liquid splash or pressurised jets cannot rely on this rating.

Wear comfort

The polyethylene SMS fabric with elastic cuffs and ankles allows movement during a 31 in inseam reach. A front zipper enables quick donning and doffing. The material is lightweight for extended shifts, though prolonged wear in high heat may increase perspiration because the suit is not breathable.

Questions about this item

What does the 33 in chest size mean for someone wearing it over work clothes?

The coverall is cut to fit a 33 in chest measurement; layering underneath will reduce the effective room inside the garment.

Which standards govern the taped seams and zipper closure?

The garment meets 16 CFR 1610, AATCC 127, ASTM D2582, ASTM D3787, ASTM D5034, ASTM D5733 and ASTM F1671 for seam integrity and barrier performance.

How much space should I allow to store the 25-pack of 3XL coveralls?

Each pack contains 25 hooded coveralls in size 3XL; bulk storage will require shelf or bin space suited to that quantity.
