Anvil 2 in FNPT Forged Steel Half Coupling

This Anvil half coupling is a forged steel pipe fitting rated Class 3000 for Schedule 160 piping. It features 2 in female NPT threads on both ends and handles a maximum operating pressure of 500 psi at 150 degrees F. The component is supplied new and suits high-pressure fluid or gas lines.

Ideal for industrial plumbing

Installers needing a robust threaded connection for Schedule 160 pipe will find this coupling appropriate. It is not suited for applications requiring a full coupling with two open ends, a different thread standard, or a lower pressure class fitting. Builders working with thin-wall tubing or non-NPT thread forms should select an alternative component.

Questions about this item

What pipe schedule must my piping be for this Class 3000 half coupling to match?

The coupling is rated for Schedule 160 pipe, so your piping must be Schedule 160 to align with the Class 3000 pressure rating.

Yes, both ends are 2-inch Female NPT, so it threads onto male NPT pipe threads of the same size.
