AOC Captain 600 ACW2212

The AOC Captain 600 ACW2212 is an on-ear wireless headset built for daily work calls and multimedia listening. It connects through Bluetooth 5.4, a USB-A dongle, or a 3.5 mm audio cable. The 40 mm drivers cover a 5 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with 32 ohm impedance. A flexible boom microphone focuses on voice capture for online meetings.

Professionals needing flexible connectivity

This headset suits home-office workers who switch between a laptop, phone, and desk PC using Bluetooth 5.4 or the USB-A dongle. The 30-hour battery and charge-while-using feature support long days without interruption. Buyers who require active noise cancellation for loud open-plan offices or frequent travel should consider other models. It is also not designed for audiophile-grade critical listening.

30-hour battery and passive isolation

A full charge delivers up to 30 hours of talk or playback time and takes 2.5 hours to complete. The USB-C cable allows continuous use while charging, removing downtime during busy schedules. Passive noise control relies on the on-ear seal to reduce moderate ambient sound. Wireless range extends to 32.81 ft, so movement around a typical room stays connected.

Questions about this item

Does the ACW2212 need a USB-A port on my computer for the wireless dongle?

The headset includes a plug-and-play USB-A dongle for instant pairing with a PC or Mac; if your machine lacks a USB-A socket you can still connect via Bluetooth 5.4 or the supplied 3.5 mm cable.

Will the 3.5 mm cable work with an older laptop that only has a headphone jack?

Yes, the box contains a Type-C to 3.5 mm audio cable so you can plug the Captain 600 directly into any 3.5 mm headphone socket without using Bluetooth or the dongle.

How can I confirm the microphone is picking up my voice clearly after setup?

Open your meeting software’s audio settings, speak into the flexible mic positioned close to your mouth, and watch the input level meter respond; the voice-focused design naturally reduces moderate ambient sound.
