Compatible Headsets and Purpose

This Aomoproing cable links an Oculus Quest or Quest 2 headset to a gaming PC for Oculus Link and Steam VR streaming. It carries both data and charging current so the headset stays powered during long sessions. The right-angled USB-C connector reduces strain on the headset port.

Length and Build

The 16.4ft (5M) nylon-braided length gives extra room to move compared with shorter cables. Aluminium alloy shells protect the connectors from repeated plugging. It suits players who want maximum freedom in a large play area. Builders needing a shorter tether for a compact desk setup may prefer a different length.

Data Rate and Power

Tested at 1,333 Mbit/s transfer speed over USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps rated), it meets the bandwidth required for Oculus Link. The cable delivers up to 60W (18.5V/3A) to charge the headset while streaming. Buyers whose PC ports cannot supply 3A should verify their port capability before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 10 ft or the 16.4 ft length for my play space?

The 10 ft cable suits smaller rooms or seated play, while the 16.4 ft option gives more room to move during active VR sessions.

What does the 5 Gbps rating mean when I am actually playing?

It delivers up to 1,333 Mbit/s in practice, enough for smooth Oculus Link streaming without noticeable lag.

Does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface limit charging while I use the headset?

No, the cable supports up to 3 A charging at 18.5 V (60 W) so the headset can charge while streaming.
