Two cables at 1.6 ft each

This pack contains two USB-C to USB-C cables, each 1.6 ft long. They are built to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard for data rates up to 20 Gbps and support 100 W power delivery at 20 V / 5 A.

Suits users needing 20 Gbps data

The cables work with PD 3.0, PD 2.0, QC 3.0, QC 2.0 and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging. They also carry 4K video at 60 Hz and 2K video at 120 Hz or 144 Hz. Buyers who need longer reach or a different speed rating should consider other options.

20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 data rate

The single specification that decides fit is the 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 data rate. If the host, dock or device does not support this generation the cable will fall back to a lower speed, so verify the port capability before purchase.

Questions about this item

What does the two-pack include and do I need any extra adapters?

The pack contains two 1.6 ft USB-C to USB-C cables. Both ends are USB-C, so no separate adapters are required for USB-C devices.

Which cable length should I choose for a desktop dock versus a portable drive?

The set only provides 1.6 ft cables. That length suits a desktop dock or a portable SSD on a short run; longer runs would need a different cable.

Will the 20 Gbps rating and 100 W power actually reach my MacBook Pro and LaCie T5 SSD?

The cable supports up to 20 Gbps data and 100 W charging, matching the MacBook Pro and LaCie T5 specs. Real-world speed also depends on the host port and drive.
