Rack PDU for 208 V three-phase power
The APC AP6037A is a basic power distribution unit designed for server racks and network cabinets that need three C19 outlets from a single three-phase feed. It mounts in a 0U or 1U orientation and ships with a 12 ft NEMA L15-30P cord already attached.
30 A derated limit on a NEMA L15-30P plug
The input connector is rated for 30 A but regulatory derating restricts continuous draw to 24 A across the 200 to 240 VAC range. The three-phase cord and built-in 30 A overload protection enforce that ceiling, so the unit cannot sustain loads beyond the derated figure.
8.6 kW capacity with three C19 outlets
At the rated voltage the PDU delivers up to 8.6 kW, enough for multiple high-density servers or storage arrays that use C19 inlets. Only three outlets are provided, so deployments needing more connections or a different outlet mix will require additional distribution units.

Questions about this item
What does the 8.6 kW rating mean for the equipment I can connect?
The 8.6 kW rating at 208 V three-phase represents the maximum continuous load the PDU can distribute. With a regulatory derated input of 24 A, you should plan connected equipment to stay within that limit.
What does the NEMA L15-30P plug require from my facility power?
The NEMA L15-30P is a locking three-phase plug rated for 30 A at 200-240 VAC. Your rack or floor PDU must provide a matching L15-30R receptacle on a 30 A three-phase branch circuit.
How many devices can I power from the three C19 outlets?
The unit provides three IEC C19 output sockets. Each C19 can accept a C20 inlet from a server or network device, so you can directly connect up to three pieces of equipment.
