APC AP9562 Rack PDU

The APC AP9562 is a basic rackmount power distribution unit designed for 100V-120V input at 15A. It provides ten 5-15 outlets in a 1U horizontal form factor for standard rack installations.

Suited for basic rack power distribution

This unit suits environments needing straightforward 120V power distribution to multiple devices from a single input. It is not for applications requiring metered monitoring, switched outlet control, or input voltages outside the 100V-120V range.

100V-120V 15A input rating

The 100V-120V 15A input rating determines compatibility with your facility power and the total load the unit can support. Verify your source circuit matches this rating before deployment.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the AP9562 and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the 1U rack PDU, an installation guide, and rack-mounting brackets; a power cord is not included.

Which outlet count should I choose for a single rack row?

This unit provides ten 5-15 outlets on one horizontal bar, so select it when you need ten connections in 1U of space.

What does the 15 A rating mean once the PDU is powered up?

It limits the total draw on the NEMA 5-15P input to 15 A at 100 V-120 V, so all ten outlets share that single 15 A circuit.
