Side Panels for 42U 1200mm Racks

The APC AR7313 supplies two black split feed-through side panels built for NetShelter SX 42U enclosures that are 1200mm deep. They let technicians route cables through the sides while keeping the rack sealed, and the set of two covers both sides of a single cabinet.

Cable Routing Under Continuous Use

Brush strips line the feed-through openings so cables can pass without chafing during long-term operation. The 18 gauge steel resists flex when bundles are added or removed repeatedly, and the slam latches hold the panels flush without tools after every access.

Build Quality and Daily Handling

Each panel weighs 46.2 lbs and measures 32.76" x 43.19" x .55", so two people or a lift are practical for installation. Locking slam latches and included keys secure the sides, while the black finish matches the rack aesthetic in data-centre rows.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 18 gauge steel side panel add when the rack runs all day?

The 18 gauge steel panel is passive and adds no heat; it simply encloses the 42U NetShelter SX frame.

What existing rack must I already own for these two panels to fit?

They are made for the APC NetShelter SX 42U 1200 mm deep enclosure.

Will the brush strips and slam latches line up with cable openings on an older NetShelter SX frame?

Yes, the included brush strips and slam latches match the standard cable pass-throughs on existing NetShelter SX racks.
