NetShelter SX 42U cable manager

This pair of vertical cable managers is designed for APC NetShelter SX racks that are 600 mm wide and 42U tall. Each unit measures 35 inches high, 1.8 inches wide and 4.2 inches deep. The black finish matches the enclosure aesthetic. They help eliminate cable stress and maintain an organised layout inside the rack.

Check rack width and height before ordering

Verify that your enclosure is a NetShelter SX model with a 600 mm width and 42U height. The manager mounts vertically along the side panels, so confirm the side clearance matches the 1.8 inch width and 4.2 inch depth. Ensure the 35 inch height aligns with your rack's usable vertical space. Other rack brands or widths will not accept this mounting pattern.

Two units per pack simplify dual-side runs

The packaged quantity of two allows you to equip both the left and right vertical channels in a single purchase. Each piece weighs approximately 4.81 lb, so factor that into the total rack load. No additional mounting hardware or software is included; the accessory relies on the rack's existing mounting features. Use the pair to route cables cleanly from top to bottom on both sides.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware comes with the two AR7721 cable managers, and do I need to buy screws or brackets separately?

The pair of black cable managers is ready to install in a NetShelter SX 600 mm wide 42U rack; no extra brackets are mentioned in the specifications.

My rack is 42U tall — will the 35-inch high manager fill the full height or should I choose a different size?

Each manager stands 35 inches high, 1.8 inches wide and 4.2 inches deep, matching the 42U enclosure height listed for the NetShelter SX 600 mm frame.

With the 1.8-inch width and 4.2-inch depth, how much cable volume can the manager actually hold in a live rack?

The 35 by 1.8 by 4.2 inch channel provides a dedicated vertical pathway that keeps cables organised and prevents stress inside the 42U enclosure.
