Rack Airflow Management

These blanking panels fill unused 1U slots in standard 19-inch server racks. They direct cold air through active equipment instead of letting it escape through open bays. The modular design suits data centres and server rooms that require consistent cooling discipline.

Tool-less Installation Behaviour

Each panel snaps into vertical square-hole rails without screws or tools, so technicians can add or remove them during live maintenance. The secure fit resists vibration from high-density hardware, keeping the airflow seal intact over long deployments.

Pack Quantity Decision

The pack contains ten panels, covering ten rack units of empty space. Buyers with fewer gaps will have surplus units, while larger installations may need multiple packs. Count your open 1U bays before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 1U blanking panel block airflow when the rack runs continuously?

The panel covers open rack space to ensure proper airflow, so it helps maintain cooling rather than restricting it.

Does the toolless mounting need square-hole vertical rails already in the rack?

Yes, the panels mount on vertical rails with square holes, so those rails must be present.

Can the ten black panels fill gaps between older 19-inch equipment?

Each panel occupies 1U of 19-inch rack space, so they fit standard 19-inch gear regardless of age.
