Compact Bi-Color LED Kit for Mobile Creators

The Aperture amaran Ace 25x is a 32W bi-color LED panel supplied with a mini tripod, light control grid, dome diffuser and carrying bag. Its Ace Lock quick-release mount enables one-second setup on camera or tripod. The all-in-one kit targets solo videographers, streamers and run-and-gun photographers who need accurate colour in a palm-sized package.

Not suited for high-output or mains-only workflows

Buyers who need more than 32W of continuous output, AC-only operation without battery concerns, or a broader beam spread than the 30-degree grid allows should consider larger fixtures. The kit also lacks built-in wireless DMX or app control for multi-light setups.

32W maximum power with CRI 95+ and TLCI 95+

The single figure that decides fit is the 32W peak output combined with 95+ CRI and TLCI scores. If that power level and colour fidelity match the exposure and accuracy demands of your typical scene, the kit delivers; if you regularly need brighter key light, look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 32W maximum output compare with older panels I already own?

The Ace 25x delivers up to 32W, so you can match or exceed most legacy on-camera lights by dimming it to their level or using the 30-degree grid to shape spill.

How can I verify the Ace 25x is performing as specified after I set it up?

Check that the bi-colour display shows your chosen colour temperature and that the CRI and TLCI readings stay at 95+ on a colour meter, confirming the claimed colour accuracy.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The kit includes the Ace 25x light, Amaran Ace Dome Diffuser, 30-degree Light Control Grid, Ace Lock Mini Tripod, 5mm hex key and a protective carrying bag; power adapters and mounting plates for specific cameras are not included.
