Professional vocal microphone kit

The Apex 870B is a dynamic super-cardioid microphone built for vocals and instruments. It ships with an MS2305 chrome tripod boom stand and a dedicated mic clip. A 20 foot XLR cable and a handled cardboard carrying case complete the package. The set suits podcasters, streamers and live performers who need a ready-to-use solution.

Consistent off-axis rejection under load

The super-cardioid element maintains its narrow pickup pattern during long sessions, keeping room bleed low even when gain is pushed. Dynamic operation means no phantom power is required, so the signal chain stays simple across different interfaces. The on/off switch lets the user mute instantly without unplugging. Robust one-piece cartridge construction resists handling noise over extended use.

Super-cardioid dynamic element

This pickup pattern is the deciding factor: it captures sound directly in front while attenuating side and rear sources more aggressively than a standard cardioid. Buyers who need a wider pickup for group discussions or ambient recording should look elsewhere. The fixed XLR output also means the kit cannot connect directly to USB-only devices without an interface.
