What these earbuds are

The ApexOne AP059 are red in-ear wired earbuds with a 3.5 mm plug, inline volume control, microphone and a magnetic housing that keeps the pair together when not in use. They ship with a storage case, a carabiner and four replacement silicone tips in two sizes.

Limits of the 3.5 mm connection

Audio and control signals travel through the analogue 3.5 mm jack, so the earbuds work only with devices that still provide that port. The cable is 120 cm long and has no wireless capability despite a Bluetooth entry in the data sheet.

The driver and diaphragm spec that matters

A polymer nanometre composite diaphragm is fitted to the dynamic driver, designed to deliver bright highs, full mids and powerful lows in a lightweight package. Buyers who need active noise cancellation or a detachable cable should look elsewhere.
