Cash drawer with 5-bill 5-coin till

The APG Vasario VB320-1-BL1616 is a black cash drawer built for point-of-sale systems. It uses the MultiPRO 320-1 interface to connect directly to Epson, Star or equivalent receipt printers. The painted front includes dual media slots and the removable till holds five bill and five coin compartments. This unit suits retail and hospitality counters that need a compact, printer-driven cash drawer.

Suits printer-driven POS setups only

This drawer works for businesses that already use compatible Epson or Star printers and want a low-profile 4.30" high unit. It is not for setups that require USB, serial or Ethernet connectivity, nor for operators who need more than five bill or five coin denominations. Buyers without a supported printer interface should look at models with alternative connection types.

MultiPRO 320-1 interface

The single deciding specification is the MultiPRO 320-1 interface, which only works with Epson, Star and equivalent printers. If the host printer uses a different driven-drawer standard, this drawer will not open electronically. Verify the printer interface before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the MultiPRO 320-1 interface to my Epson or Star receipt printer?

Connect the drawer's interface cable to the printer's dedicated cash drawer port; the step often missed is confirming the printer model is listed as compatible with the MultiPRO 320-1 interface.

What maintenance will the VPK-15B-2A-BX till with 5 bill and 5 coin compartments need over time?

Periodically remove the till and clean dust from the coin rollers and bill clips; replace the till insert if the dividers crack or the coin cups wear smooth.

What is the first limitation that appears when the drawer is opened continuously throughout a busy trading day?

The painted front and dual-media construction are rated for standard retail cycles; the lock mechanism or till alignment typically shows wear before the steel chassis does.
