Vasario 1616 Series Cash Drawer

The APG Vasario VB320-BL1616-B5 is a standard-duty cash drawer built for point-of-sale environments. Its 16.20" x 16.30" footprint with a 4.30" height including .50" feet fits typical counter spaces. The MultiPRO 24V interface connects to compatible printers and terminals. A black painted front provides a professional appearance for retail or hospitality settings.

MultiPRO Interface and Four-Function Lock

The 320 MultiPRO interface adapts the drawer to most POS platforms without requiring proprietary hardware. A proven four-function lock delivers several security levels: locked closed, locked open, online, and manual open. Dual media slots on the front allow quick access to cheques or credit card slips. Durable plastic hold-downs ensure easy and comfortable till lifting during operation.

Adjustable Till and Cycle-Tested Mechanism

An adjustable 4x8 till configuration organises coins and notes for daily transaction volumes. The roller bearing suspension system supports long-lasting smooth movement across the 1616 chassis. A latch ejection mechanism tested over one million cycles provides headroom for high-frequency use. The manual open latch operates via push button only, limiting access when the drawer is locked closed.

Questions about this item

Will the latch ejection mechanism need replacement after heavy daily use?

The latch ejection mechanism is tested over one million cycles, so it is built for long lasting drawer operation under normal retail workloads.

What limits continuous operation on a busy till?

The MultiPRO 24V interface connects to 24V printers and terminals, and the drawer cycles only when the host system signals it, so the host determines the pace.

How much noise or heat does the drawer produce when left open all day?

The drawer has no fan or motor; it stays passive until the host triggers the latch, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat during idle periods.
