Apollo Tectite Water Heater Connector

This connector joins a water heater to copper PEX or CPVC supply lines using a push-to-connect fitting on one side and a female pipe thread on the other. It is intended for residential hot and cold water installations where a quick tool-free connection is preferred. The braided stainless steel hose provides flexibility for alignment in tight spaces.

Push-to-Connect and FNPT ends

The push-to-connect end accepts copper PEX or CPVC pipe without soldering crimping or glue. The 1 in female pipe thread end threads onto the water heater nipple after pipe thread tape is applied. This combination eliminates the need for separate adapters and reduces installation time compared with traditional sweat or threaded joints.

Length and material constraints

The 24 in braided stainless steel length limits the reach between the water heater and the supply pipes. Installations requiring a longer or shorter run must select a different length from the 12 in to 24 in range. The connector is not supplied with a ball valve so a separate shut-off must be provided if local code requires one.
