Connects a toilet supply line using a 12-inch PVC hose with stainless-steel cover, brass compression and plastic FIP fittings, rated to 250 psi at 70 °F and certified to IAPMO and NSF61 standards
This kit supplies a flexible hose assembly designed for toilet installations. It includes a 12-inch length of PVC tube with a stainless steel cover and 5/16-inch inside diameter. Brass and plastic fittings provide secure connections at both ends. The components meet IAPMO and NSF61 standards for potable water use.
The hose operates reliably between 40 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum working pressure is rated at 250 psi when measured at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. PVC tube and stainless steel cover resist corrosion and scale build-up during normal service. No moving parts mean the assembly adds no audible noise to the plumbing system.
Fitting A uses a 3/8-inch compression connection while Fitting B uses a 7/8-inch FIP thread, allowing direct attachment to common toilet supply stops and tank inlets. The 12-inch length suits standard rough-in distances without excess slack. Stainless steel cover protects the PVC core from abrasion against surrounding surfaces. Buyers who need a longer reach or a different thread type will require a separate hose assembly.

The kit has a 3/8 in compression fitting (Fitting A) for the supply stop and a 7/8 in FIP fitting (Fitting B) for the toilet fill valve. The common mistake is reversing them — the compression end threads onto the stop, the FIP end threads into the tank.
Inspect the 12 in PVC hose and stainless steel cover periodically for cracks, kinks, or corrosion. Replace the entire connector kit if the tube shows hardening, the cover frays, or any fitting leaks, as individual parts are not sold separately.
The temperature ceiling of 180 °F is the first hard limit. The 250 psi rating applies only at 70 °F; pressure capacity drops as water temperature rises toward 180 °F, so sustained high-temperature flow will hit the thermal limit before the pressure limit.
